At Let's Dance Studios, our competitive dance teams program is designed for dancers who want to commit to taking their dancing to the next level!
This program promotes teamwork, discipline, responsibility, CONFIDENCE and life skills.
All members of our competition teams must also continue to participate in selected technique classes during the regular dance school year. They will take Ballet, and Technique classes in addition to Team Practices.

Season Auditions
Auditions are by appointment- on YOUR schedule!
Dancers who audition at Let's Dance Studios are notified by email of their audition results.
– Auditions are closed to observers
– Required attire: Black Clothing. ex leggings, shorts, tights, leotards. Black form fitting top
COST: Auditions are FREE!

LEVELS:
Let's Dance Studios has 3 levels which are based upon age and skill level. Our levels are Novice, Intermediate, and Senior Teams.
Novice- Beginning Dance Experience. You will enter as a beginner dancer no matter the age. We will however put you in the age appropriate class. This is for someone with little or beginning experience.
Intermediate- This is for someone who has had at least 2 years of competition or dance experience.
Competitive/Elite- For the experienced dancer. Must know dance terminology and techniques.
You will be placed in the group with your experience but same age group.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:–
Community Parades
– Team Bonding Events
– 1 Saturday extra team rehearsal per month September-February
–3 Regional Competitions per year (Louisville area) -National Competition (if qualified) For the
2025-2026 season we may be traveling out of state( Location TBD)
FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS:
Monthly payment for classes
Costumes, make up, accessories
Competition Fees
Duets/Trio or Solo Fees
Shoes/tights
Warm up jackets, pants, practice clothes
